LINK Education Secretary Betsy Devos calls student debt forgiveness 'a truly insidious notion' and free college 'a socialist takeover'
School loans are a prison. Most who achieve a level of higher education are strapped with paying their loans back long into their adult life. It's as if you're not allowed to pursue the American dream of a home and family until you pay off the loan. Seeing as the Gov't is the ONLY people allowed to take it by force, what are people to do? It needs to change.

Mean spirited and really not good at her job.
@Alienbeing She has zero qualifications for the job. She has zero knowledge or experience with public education.
Betsy and her old man took it on themselves to buy up some student loans because they knew they would make a big profit. It follows that student loan debt forgiveness would irk her to the bone. She was upset before when one of their ten yachts was stolen. Betsy, BTW is the former Betsy Prince. Her brother is Eric Prince of Blackwater fame. Blackwater is now Academi.
