Last night, Robert Aaron Long was named as the suspect in a series of shootings at Georgia massage parlors that left eight people dead, most of whom were Asian.
It’s still early. There’s a lot we don’t know. But among the details coming out about Long, here’s one that unfortunately isn’t shocking at all: He attended a Baptist church.
The Daily Beast spoke to someone he attended high school with, who let reporters know Long was always into God:

Into god and for some reason it looks like he is into racism. Were the Georgia Asian men and women into porn movies? Why would this nutjob think he was doing the work of his god?

His parents turned him in according to the evening news. And he was on his way to Florida with the intent to shoot up a porn production company. In his perv mind he was doing the work of the lord! I am really surprised his Baptist parents turned him in.

@bbyrd009 I'm guessing they know how much of a psycho he is and were afraid if they didn't he would be killing a lot more people.
