The immigration problem at our southern border is a problem, but not one of the defining issues of our time. Under Trump the Republicans tried hard to made it the central issue that our country must deal with, They did that simply to divert attention away from the greater problems in our society that they do not want to deal with on ideological grounds. They are trying to do it again under Biden to fragment the focus of the current administration, thereby making the administration ineffective.

That makes it a winner for the GOP (in Trump's mind). The new trajectory of emphasizing racism and embracing fascism is a major win for Putin. The US will recover or it will continue it's descent into confusion and chaos.

It's a molehill, that the GOP insist is a mountain.
People should relax a bit and stop being dicks to children that wouldn't be there were they not begging for their lives.
They aren't "secret" agents of chaos ordered here to tear down our government, that would be the Republicans.
