Thats what the orange turd always says......... Must be a conservative thing!

@Redneckliberal Have anything intelligent to say?

@Alienbeing TRY FACTUAL....

@Redneckliberal Your last comment makes as much sense as your first comment...... NONE!

@alienbeing do i need to break out the crayons?

@Redneckliberal I am sure your crayon collection is vast however, what you need is an English class, not another class to teach you how to color between the lines.

@alienbeing awwww!.... Bless your poor little butthurt heart!!.... Ill get the crayons out for you.... The straws you keep grasping are useless ..... Much like conservative ideology.

@Redneckliberal You should try for at least one intelligent reply.

@alienbeing one needs something intelligent to resp[ond to

@Redneckliberal I said when you haad something intelligent to say let me know. There is nothing intelligent about your usual mindless keyboard tappings.

As posted I have before it's my policy to call people what they call themselves and the Cuban government says they are communist.

The Navy I talked to definitely hunger for More material goods. They're beautiful island plus they're unbelievable ingenuity would go far with more freedoms. Covid is overwhelming they're very good medical system and I hope we figure out a way to help.

I was lucky to spend two days in Cuba 3 years ago and I thought you might enjoy seeing my small video of my ride in a Coco taxi.

I am always surprised at what people really don't know.

Almost No Americans want a dictatorial Marxist regime to control our country, contrary to what you suggest. American moderates and liberals want our country to strive for real democracy that is concerned ALL of our people and about constitutional democracy. We are not fools who can be duped into buying any extreme ideology.

An "extreme ideology" that despite 62 years of illegal US sanctions provides its people with free medical treatment, frequently responds to other nation's natural disasters needing medical teams whilst the US masturbates & looks for ways to make profit, houses its people & found ways to feed its people in the face of such sanctions designed to result in Cuban starvation & ill health.

I'd love to see Americans do as well in the same circumstances.

"American moderates and liberals want our country to strive for real democracy"
Precisely, because it is something they have not had, ever not eve under their own lax definition of what a democracy ought to be.

3

The distinction is that socialism and Democratic socialism is nowhere near the same thing.

[businessinsider.com]

To conservatives all socialism is the same... You're only confusing them

Socialism, is socialism to these dim wits, which why they think Hitler being a democratic socialist, was a pinko commie bastard!

Officially Cuba is a socialist government with the intent on becoming communist . Communism is a stateless moneyless marketplace classless society .Cuba does not fit that description.

1

Please which Communist Government was not a dictatorship. China? Perhaps the Soviet Union?

And the USA is a free country not containing homeless people, ill frequently overweight people and the world's biggest prison population and those not in prison are oppressed by discrimination, dubious voting rules, extreme levels of firearm murders & deaths, brutal laws & law enforcement agencies?

What a laugh.

@FrayedBear When you can answer the question let us know. What you have done so far (once again) is show us your feeble attempt at changing th subject.

@Alienbeing Are you really saying that your faux democracy is better than those you accuse of being communist dictatorships?
What does your psychiatrist suggest to cure your delusion? But perhaps it is a psychosis & you do not realise it.

@FrayedBear First the U.S.A. is not, nor ever was a Democracy. The U.S.A. is a Republic. The fact that you doN't kow this is not surprising becauSe your posts generally reveal a surface knowledge of world events at best.

The differences between a Democracy and our Republic are SIGNIFICANT! I'll help you along with just a few differenes:

  1. In a Democracy every vote is equal. I the U.S. each State is given two Senators irrespective of population. Hence the Senators from North and South Dakota (just two examples) have FAR more voting power than Senators from California and most other States.
  2. Amendments to our Constitution require a 66% approval vote in the Senate then a 66% approval by the State Legislatures. In a Democracy only simple majority (51%) wouold be required..

I'd list many more differenes but I do not want to assume the role as your educator.

That being settled, YES our Republic is FAR better than the Commuist Dictatorships I mentioned. You say "accuse". Please tell me why China or the old Soviet Union should not be correctly referred to as Dictatorships.

@Alienbeing who is the current Chinese dictator? And what happened to previous Chinese leaders who you probably claimed to be dictators.
If you live in a republic without a dictatorship how is it that many US presidents do things simply by presidential decree?

@FrayedBear The President and Chariman of the Chinese Communist Party (same person) is the current dictator. No one nor any body politic can overrule him. That is the definition of a dictator. Prior Chises dictatirs such as Mao died.

One again you prove you don't have a clue. While our President can issue Executive Orders in a few limited areas, those orders do not carry the weight of law and can (and frequently are) thrown out by Courts.

You additionally display confusion when you typed "If you live in a Republic without dictatorship", because my reply to you CLEARLY ONLY discussed your mistaken assertion that the U.S. was a Democracy. Reread what I said, it was all about Republic verses Democracy. You addition of "dictatorship" is so foolish that is is laughable. No U.S. President ever had or has any dictitorial powers. EVERYTHING a U.S. President does can be overruled by a Court if it is not within a Presidential Constitutional power. You made a truly foolish statement proving you have no clue.

@Alienbeing lol, & when the courts are stacked with judges of the same pursuaion as the incumbent president there is no effective dictatorship is there?
That newly elected presidents continue to follow the dictates of their predecessors seems to indicate dictatorship - the dictatorship of the corporations & the military not government for the citizens.
Let us take one simple facit of life - medical health. Enlightened countries have universal healthcare for their citizens. It is my understanding that America does not. Irrespective of whether you are a democracy or republic is this not dictatorship? Your hated socialist states like China, Venezuela, Cuba, Russia have had universal healthcare for its citizens for a long time despite the depradations of American illegal sanctions. You claim that I have no right to criticise or even post others reports denouncing American foreign policy & yet you happily support American dictatorship of how people in other countries should live their lives. . .

@FrayedBear You put your foot so deep in your mouth that it must be in your stomach by now. More laughably each new post you make shows how little (if anything) you understand about American Jurisprudence.

Few, VERY FEW legal decisions go to our Supreme Court. No one (except possibly you) says the entire Court system is slanted one way or another. Additionally in State Courts (where most decisions are made) Judges are elected, not appointed at most levels. So much for your blabber.

In fact newly eleced Presidents do NOT usually follow the dictates of their predecessor. Obama made a point of cancelling most of Executive Orders Bush 43 promulgated, and even coined the phrase "elections have consequences" while doing it. Biden made it a point to invite media people into his office when he cancelled vitrually ALL of Trumps Executive Orders. Biden also reversed all of Trump's procedures regarding border crossing. You clearly make up shit as you go along.

For your information I am in favor of Universal Healthcare via Medicare for all. However that is irrelevant to any of your other incorrect assumptions. The fact is you have't gotten any of your accusations correct yet.

Last, I don't say you can't have an opinion. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. What I do say is your opinion is laughable because you have no clue what you are talking about, and I say your approval is not required for anything we care to do, or not do, and since you are not a citizen of the U.S.A. you can't vote so your opinion is worthless.

@Alienbeing you eulogise your government, your society, your legal court system, your system of electing representatives to create a society as I have previously stated has failed despite its wonderful advances in science to properly house, enable its citizens in an environment free of discrimination, false mass imprisonment, universal healthcare, equality in tax payment, etc. Yet you still abuse me , tell me that you do not need my approval to continue to believe in yours & your country's bullying.
I suggest that you watch the following video which not only exposes your country's behaviour but also the lie of the behaviour of all those perceived wondrous checks, balances & benefits that you claim are benefitting American citizens and the rest of the world's citizens.

@FrayedBear As I have said previously, you make it up as you go along. You apparently live in your own world.

I did not "eulogise" my government, society or legal system. I challange you to cite one time I ever did. I DID say you don't know a thing about them, and it is clear you do not.

The rant in which you then indulged yourself, is yet another example of you make it up as you go along.

I repeat WE DO NOT NEED YOUR APPROVAL FOR ANYTHING WE DO OR DO NOT DO. In fact, since you have shown yourself to be nothing except a bag of wind, who makes unsubstantiated and incorrect statements, the only thing you are useful for is silly entertainment.

I suggest you get life.

@Alienbeing you really are sadly pathetic. I do not care about whether your opinion of me is right or wrong. What I do care about is that you & your country create the atrocities shown & reported in the video above but then turn round and say "WE DO NOT NEED YOUR APPROVAL FOR ANYTHING WE DO OR DO NOT DO".

You rightly name yourself.

9/11 is little compared to what you should be experiencing. Stew in the sauce of your own making. I hope that I live long enough to see it.

@FrayedBear Apparently you don't understand the message. I'll try to put it on a third grade level to assist you.

Your approval of anything the U.S. does is not required, nor even sought. Your opinon is worthless. Additionally since YOU have PROVEN you have no clue about what you post, your opinion is not even worth a laugh, because to be funny, a joke needs some basis in reality, which you have proven you don't have.

When you learn what type government we have and when you can illustrate some knowledge of international affairs you may be worth a read. Currently you are only worth scorn.

@Alienbeing When you admit that you and your country is responsible for the abominations shown in this video

I may acknowledge you have an opinion of my ignorance whether it is real or in your imagination.
Such acknowledgement however will not change my opinion that you are like a dead-flesh eating pathetic maggot who should have been aborted at birth because you only want to destroy viable flesh.

Using Professor Cipolla's definition you are a "stupid" unable to contribute anything to humanity & its wellbeing.

Lol, Your scorn is not worth the screen that it prints on.
Do try and intelligently use the remainder of your life.

IMO at the moment you are spectacularly failing - you are still wasting your time arguing with someone whom you consider poorly educated & only worth your scorn.

What maggot like behaviour, and here I have a picture of those maggots used to eat gangrene only, in this case I suspect that you perceive me as the gangrene whilst you are the cleansing maggot!
[wikihow.com] . . . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Please which Communist Government was not a dictatorship. China? Perhaps the Soviet Union?"
Stupid question, communism is EXTREMIST socialism, ALL extremist governmental systems veer toward dictatorship that is what defines them as Extreme.
There have been many successful socialist or part socialist democracies, I live in one of them, that have never moved toward communism or even anti-capitalism, but non the less embraces principles created and instituted by Socialism such as universal health care, a welfare state backed care of the elderly and the orphaned children, social housing run for profit and unemployment benefit, that prevents the economy from collapsing in times of depression or recession.

@Alienbeing "First the U.S.A. is not, nor ever was a Democracy. The U.S.A. is a Republic. "
Oh for thinking's sake buy a political dictionary, that statement is without doubt a certain nomination for the "Most unbelievably stupid piece of fuckwittery on the internet of the year award" on an internet that that still has Alex Jones on it.

@LenHazell53 Not a stupid question at all. However being the leftist you are I ca see why you would wnat to avoid a direct answer.

The remainder of your post attempts to conflate Socialist governments with Communist governments and as such is not at all related to the question which starts yout post.

In total you avoid the question and attempt to confuse the issue. Standard procedure for you.

@LenHazell53 Your lame attempt to sound as if you know the subject is just that, LAME. The differences between the Republic we have in the USA (at the Federal level) is VAST. Try reading up on it.

@FrayedBear When you learn to read you will see I never said the USA was or was not responsible for anything. I DID say you have no clue, and your knowledge of our government and legal system is very poor at best.

I also said your opinion means nothing except to yourself. You have NO say about how we conduct internal or external affairs.

The above two facts make most of your conclusions a joke.

@Alienbeing
Quote " Not a stupid question at all. However being the leftist you are I ca see why you would wnat to avoid a direct answer."

Maybe if you learned to type intelligibly one might be able to consider your arguments seriously.
However since you seem to be attempting to type one handed, I will leave you and your "home entertainment system" to continue doing what ever it is you are doing with your right hand that is getting you so exited and distracted that leaves you incapable of spelling Want & Can 🙂

@LenHazell53 Whether I type remarkably well or poorly has no relationship to fact. Another attempt by you to change or modify the subject.

I see that since you can't understand the difference between our Federal Republic and a Democracy you wish to reteat to your safe space. No surprise.

@LenHazell53 By the way Len, while you are in your safe space perhaps you can enlighten us regarding the following:

  1. In a Democracy each vote is equal. In the US Federal Gov. each State gets 2 Senators irrespecive of population. Is that equal?
  2. In a Democracy 51% rules. Many Federal issues require a 66% vote. Democratic?
  3. Explain how our Electoral College is even resembles a Democracy?
  4. Why does the U.S. Pledge say "....and to the Republic for which it stands"?

I know you won't be able to explain how any of the above examples equal a Democracy, so I won't wait.

@Alienbeing if that is what you see, I suggest you visit an optometrist immediately, for you see very poorly indeed.
Until nest time my poor extraterrestrial perplexed by Paralinguistics playmate

@Alienbeing Numbers 1,2,3 you already posted elsewhere , do you not recall that? Are you perhaps suffering a little alzheimer's, memory not so good anymore?
As for number 4 do you really want me to educate you on your own pledge of allegiance?
Okay Yes the United states is a Republic in that it it is ruled by its people and not a monarch. HOWEVER a republic is not a form of governing, it is a governmental system that excludes the divine right of royalty.
A democracy can be a republic, and vice versa if it follows democratic principles.
You may recall in 1776 your country became a republic, however prior to this and post this switch to republicanism it was still a democracy, after a fashion.
In so far as the electorate allows one vote person citizen in the process of electing its rulers American is still a democracy. However its two houses of parliament are though representatively democratic not functionally democratic for the reasons you describe, this does not however make them functionally republican other than in the fact they are not pro-royalist.
There have been non democratic republics in the past the soviet union or Iran for example, but these were always under some other form of rule, be it political, oligarchal, theological, plutocratic or dictatorial

@LenHazell53 I recall what I posted, I felt you didnt understand them so I repeated them. As far as educating me, there is one thigs I am absolutly sure of, you would be incapable of doing that.

Your feeble attempt to justify your earlier post is noted. Saying "However its two houses of parliament are though representatively democratic not functionally democratic for the reasons you describe, this does not however make them functionally republican other than in the fact they are not pro-royalist." is an excersize in double talk. If something as you said "not functionally democratic" then it is not democratic.

Since you are in the UK I doubt you ever had much U.S. history in school. I'll quote from History.org
"Well, for one, as we'll discuss later, the Founders actually feared democratic rule. JAMES MADISON expressed this attitude in FEDERALIST #10: "...instability, injustice, and confusion ...have in truth been the mortal disease under which popular governments everywhere perished..." In the late 18th-century, rule by the people was thought to lead to disorder and disruption. Yet a democratically-based government was seen as superior to the monarchies of Europe.

Democracies are based on "rule of law." The ANCIENT GREEKS (particularly ARISTOTLE) valued NATURAL LAW, the notion that human societies should be governed by ethical principles found in nature. The Greeks are famous for practicing DIRECT DEMOCRACY, a system in which citizens meet to discuss all policy, and then make decisions by majority rule. However, only free males were considered to be citizens. So their democracy was certainly limited. Today direct democracy is practiced in New England town meetings, where all citizens of voting age meet to decide important political decisions.
But how could direct democracy work in a large, diverse population spread over a geographical distance? Generally, the answer has been that it can't. In its place, the AMERICAN FOUNDERSput "indirect" or "representative" democracy. In this system, REPRESENTATIVES are chosen by the people to make decisions for them. The representative body, then, becomes a manageable size for doing the business of government. The Founders preferred the term "REPUBLIC" to "democracy" because it described a system they generally preferred: the interests of the peopled were represented by more knowledgeable or wealthier citizens who were responsible to those that elected them. Today we tend to use the terms "republic" and "democracy" interchangeably. A widespread criticism of representative democracy is that the representatives become the "elites" that seldom consult ordinary citizens, so even though they are elected, a truly representative government doesn't really exist."

To make it clear, our Founding Fathers as a whole did not want a Democracy and they made sure that at the Federal level we didn't get one. A Hallmark of a Democracy is one person, one vote. Each time our Senat Votes it defies that Hallmark.

When you get an understanding of American history, let me know.

@LenHazell53 Another dodge. Try a factual rebuke, you dodges are boring.

@LenHazell53 Thanks for trying Len but I'm now realising that the maggot actually has them in his brain - a symbiotic relationship perhaps that is shared with many of his North American countrymen enabling them to believe that they control their government which does good for them & the rest of humanity who are not similary infected.
I recall reading of an organism that has been found to infect mice brains causing them to suicide to higher predators. Once eaten by the predator the organism then transfers to the brain of the predator - usually cats. Cats unlike Americans however frequently try to find humans to ingratiate themselves with. It seems to work in reverse with this maggot & his founding fathers. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (I laugh that I do not cry)
His penultimate reply to your "1,2,3" question bears the hallmark, apart from its insults, of something lifted from the internet. We all know how reliable that is. I still think that he is projecting onto us in order to protect his brain from the abominable horrors imposed on the rest of the world by his country. That the people of Iraq expressed to the reporter in the video the opinion that they were better of under Sadam Hussein than the mess left by the Americans is a simple inditement and proof of a country of alienbeings.

@Alienbeing [ushistory.org] oh look you can cut and paste, clever boy.
Yet you have the temerity to accuse me of not understanding history.

@LenHazell53 Good one Len. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

@FrayedBear You and Len can celebrate your incorrect statements, and most of all feel as smug as you want ot about the FACT that your approval of anything the USA does or does not do is not required, nor relevant.

@LenHazell53 Too bad you can't understand the cut and paste, and yet another dodge on your part. Your "understanding" of American History does not exist. I note with a smile you can't refute anything I said.

Stay in your safe spot it is dangerous for you when you leave.

@Alienbeing You are starting to repeat yourself chummy, can you write nothing original to yourself?

@LenHazell53 I'm not your chum. I would never be chummy with a leftist loudmouth who can't back up a thing he says.

I do repeat myself because, in case you haven't noticed, I effectivly correted your misstatements and you never even offered a counter.

The sad part is you and some other Socialist Brits seem oblivious to the fact that your opinion of what the U.S.A. does or does not do carries no weight at all. This is espicially correct when you provably make false statements. I guess that is part of your safe space.

@Alienbeing
Wow thanks I have never been "correted" before 😏 Did I enjoy it?
Also I do not believe in Psychics so if claim something is ESP-icially correct, I would tend not to believe you.
Also I do not "provably make false statements" written or otherwise. I might, however at some point make "provably false statements," but that would be an entirely different thing.
You really do need to write more clearly, so people know what you mean to say.
Was this never pointed out to you in court? Alternatively, where you not that sort of Lawyer?

@LenHazell53 Yes you do provably make false statements and you even corrected yourself.

In the past I've been congratulated by many people for the breifs I wrote, so whether you think my writing skills are excellent or the worst you ever encountered means nothing to me.

All this is meaningless because my sole point is that you and your slow chum's approval of any USA action or in action is meaningless, except I guess to yourselves.

When your country has literally thousands of people continuously trying to get in you may have something to compare.

I made my point and I showed you don't have much knowledge of our Government. That was always my only desire.

Bye bye Socialist.

P.S. Since you can't figure it out "correted" is a typo of "corrected". I am suprised you could not figure that out since, using your own words, I type with one hand. Maybe that is merely another attempted dodge from you.

We had the chance to turn Cuba around under Obama. It was trump that set that effort back.

Cuba has been stuck in the past since the late 1950's when Fidel Castro successfully overthrew the extant government. At that point economics and the standard of living stood still and progressed very little since then.

The Cuban people have been hungry for material possessions like what we experience here in the US. The best way to turn them away from their present economic system was give them what they desired. Obama's opening of Cuba was the beginning of this shift. Once they tasted the things we take advantage of here, there would have been no way that they would return to the way it was.

The material addiction would have altered their government and economy naturally. Having tasted the things they had wished for for decades would have opened the flood gates. The dictatorship could not have reversed the move without another military crackdown and an internal civil war.

Republicans ruined the best chance they had for a peaceful revolution in Cuba spurred on by their own people and their hunger for the material culture had only heard about. Just another stupid, short-sighted move on the part of Republicans. Way to go dickheads.

t1nick Level 8 July 14, 2021

Lots of laughter. It is American governments of all types that have dince Kennedy maintained illegal danctions against Cuba.

You are spewing yet more American ideology in an attempt to justify US illegality. Furthermore given the current state of American society it would pronably be better of without much of the trash that you espouse as valuable & necessary.

@FrayedBear Please don't misconstrue this as a defense of the US sanctions.

Aside from multiple UN resolutions urging the US to remove sanctions, what/which/who controlling legal authority calls them illegal and ACTUALLY has LAW(S) making them 'illegal' -- and could/would ENFORCE those "laws".

I'm not aware of much of any effective enforcement of UN policy -- or international law for that matter.

[asil.org]

[justia.com]

@FrayedBear

I never said that I condoned or backed. I was just explaining that if the program had been allowed to proceed, it would have changed Cuba by addicting them to the type of consumerism that would be hard to turn back the clock upon.

@FrayedBear

Thanks, but I do not do Facebook and no longer support or use my old account.

@FrayedBear

I said that I didn't condone the policy, and I don't. I have never agreed with our policy towards Cuba.

With the present unrest in Cuba, Republicans have been throwing out all kinds of rhetoric with regards to the situation there. I ended my post with a comment that could be construed as supporting the consumerism approach. Rather I was chastising Republicans for sabatouging the exact outcome they desired to have happen due to their own short-sightedness.

@t1nick have you had a watch / can you watch the linked video on "You probably wont see this in our MSCM though.

[fb.watch]"?
You may appreciate it!

@FrayedBear

I will try when I get back from town. Thanks.

Reading comprehension and basic definitions are hard for most conservatives.

Being mad at them for lack of comprehension is like being mad at me for not being an Olympic gymnast or not being able to parallel park.

Your not a gymnast! 😲

@Sticks48 No need to rub it in! I did some somersaults in my karate class several years ago. They were thrilled for me!

@ursimajor how long in traction!!
