Most likely because the ideologies, doctrines, teachings, etc, etc, were dreamed up by Men, to suit and foster the males of society and to give a sense of importance, FALSE importance to Males when it IS the Females who are and have always been the foundations of Human Kind in that without Females there would BE NO Human Kind to begin with.
The JW's are cult like in many ways and they shun you if you leave them. My basic belief in why other religions do not like them is that they believe when you die you are dead until resurrected. Evangelicals think you have a soul that went somewhere. They are more afraid of death.
