For much of the pandemic, Dr. Lee Merritt has appeared on talk shows and in lecture halls to spread false information about COVID-19.
Among her claims: that the SARS-CoV2 virus is a genetically engineered bioweapon (the U.S. intelligence community says it's not). And that vaccination dramatically increases the risk of death from COVID (data show an enormous drop in risk for those who take the vaccine). The entire pandemic, she says in public lectures, is a vast global conspiracy to exert social control.
And yet, in October, she was able to renew her medical license in the state of Nebraska. Documents obtained through a public records request by NPR showed it took just a few clicks: 12 yes-or-no questions answered online allowed her to extend her license for another year.
Yea, thanks for reminding me that I have to send DeSantos $500.00 to renew my medical license, it is the dollars that allow me to not have gone to medical school.
Such a person getting her license in a conservative state. So why is there any doubt?
I would like to know just how far do conspiracies go? Can all the world's governments agree to spread misinformation and create a vaccine (that seemingly works) just to - what? Kill off the citizens of the individual countries. Is this how we handle overpopulation? What about those involved with the conspiracy - are they somehow immune? I think too many 'doctors' like this have been taking some of their own prescription drugs.
It's amazing that countries constantly on the verge of war with each other can secretly agree to kill their own citizens y the hundred thousand instead. We really need JFK Junior to step up (and out of his grave) and fix this!
In a fair society doctors who knowingly spread misinformation should be challenged with violating the oath they had to take to become doctors...do no harm...but maybe thats not a requirement anymore.
What about the pretend doctors/experts on this site that spread misinformation and bullshit about covid ?!!
Pretend doctors don’t need to be licensed. Anyone stupid enough to believe them over trained doctors and specialists deserve to get sick.
On an misinformation Covid sight here, all KINDS of false statements are made, like for instance it was made in a lab at the University of North Carolina. All it took was a few clicks online to read the doctor in question was investigating coronaviruses, but his research began around 2004, and had nothing to do with covid-19.
They don't care. This is a game to them
@storm1752 a game that is killing unsuspecting people
