This concept most of you will get, try to explain it to a holy roller and the answer you will get is it can't be just because. Evil was created by early man because of the dark. At night people would wonder around the forest, jungle, desert. Well predatory animal would kill or maim them, hence evil was born. So along comes fire light the predators knew fire would hurt or kill them , hence a magical tool to rid evil. good was born. So not being able to express the emotions verbally pictures were drawn. over time verbiage came, then the pictures were interpreted and with a little imagination rituals were created. As everyone knows over time a simple story can become an elaborate epic just because humans are creative. Then as to control people the leaders created fear making stories about mythical creatures that would punish if you did not obey. So there you have it an explanation active imaginations.
So you are saying (maybe) that evil exists in cultural anthologies because leaders embellished the stories based on eminent danger of what lurks in the dark?
