As he said technology has its uses, it also its pitfalls. Your better off meeting someone in a supermarket and it does not cost you anything other than polite conversation which may result in a date or friendship.

@ASTRALMAX I guess I am still in the protection mindset. I wear a mask and generally don't talk to anyone except the checker in the grocery store when I go. I have come to the conclusion that if I meet anyone I'd like to date it is going to have to be someone who joins one of the local meetup groups I'm in. Most if not all of my meetups are non religious folks so that weeds out the buybull thumpers. I'm not counting on it.
