An Ohio school district has decided to end a policy that allowed students to legally skip school in order to take Bible indoctrination classes because, frankly, it was getting out of hand.

Yes it was. If you want bible indoctrination try going to your local church instead. Could it be that the local school system saw that students were using this to play hooky?
THAT WAS MY FIRST THOUGHT AS WELL. What I find so disturbing is that in the last few years there is legislation passed that is requiring Biblical education in our public schools. Oklahome, then Texas and now Iowa. What happened to separation of Church and State? My brothers and I talked our parents out of signing up for the church run school because we were not like the Church going klids around us who were shoplifting and getting in trouble all the time. We were well behaved and quite frankly we had enough of the religious brainwashing as it was on Sundays.
