Autism and/or Asperger's Syndrome

A group for people with autism, who support someone with autism or who are just interested in the condition.

If you have autism don't be worried about the social issues of saying something wrong or not fittiing in, you will be fine, just say what you think 🙂

As a mom to a preteen boy with autism, I am finding it so difficult to have “the talk” with him. I’m not even sure what to say to him beyond the scientific explanations. And we are going to be in trouble when it comes time for shaving lessons....

One thing I've noticed with my middle child (ASD level 2 but now considered "high functioning") is that his behavior is a lot better when we spend a lot of time being very active - playing outside especially at a park, etc. I've also heard other ...

Hello everyone, I am new here and I am so glad this group is here. I have spent most of my life as an actor. Not a paid actor, but an actor so I could fit in with society. It was only a few years ago that I found out why I had to be such an actor....

This group has now reached 100 members. A big thank you to everyone who's joined, contributed, read something or just passed through. I would like to give @Cutiebeauty a prize for being our 100th member but we don't have the budget :-)
