I want to start a daily ritual here. Id like as many of you to participate as you can and feel able to.
I'm tired of pushing myself to try to meet the unrealistic expectations of others. Not everyone can overcome their disabilities through sheer determination and hard work and THAT DOES NOT INVALIDATE US.
So starting today I want to do a daily #LITTLEVICTORIES post. Little victories are those things most people do everyday with no problems that might be a struggle.
You are an inspirational hero too, just like those people with no arms that climb mountains. You are JUST AS VALID.
So I'll post my little victory for today and y'all can reply with your little victory or post your own. I just want to keep this up so you can know that YOU are powerful too.
My # littlevictory is realizing I don't need to meet the expectations of strangers. If all I manage to do is get out of bed tomorrow, that's still a victory to me.

I'm impressed when anyone manages to take a cat for a walk. Mine just falls over any time we try to put a harness on him. It's more like taking the cat for a drag! ?

@SACatWalker I don’t use a leash. They lead and I follow. It’s a very meandering walk but they wait by the door for it.

I feel ya...
I got the tub relatively clean today.
Now I can throw myself in it to relieve muscle spasm again.
I also ordered a swimsuit so I can go float in my friend's pool the next time she asks. She doesn't care one bit how fat I am - so why should it matter to me one bit!
