Okay now I am irritated.
I am on a little immunosuppression therapy to try and control my mcas. (Mast cell activation syndrome)
My coworkers and family are all well aware that I'm immunosuppressed.
My coworker was at work with a sore throat for THREE DAYS and on the third day she went to urgent care and was diagnosed with strep. She came back and packed up and promised to be back the next day but luckily she called out (the RULE is out for 24 hours after you start your antibiotics) but SHE DIDNT EVEN SANITIZE ANYTHING SHE TOUCHED.
So that day I sanitized every single thing in the office including every single page in our 600 page books (2 of them).
apart from gargling hand sanitizer I'm not sure I could do any more.
And guess what. My throat hurts today.
And guess what else.
My dad is sick now too.
I'm pissed.
I'm hoping that it's just irritated from a sharp potato chip I ate or something since it felt like a cut on my tonsil when I gargle saline. But you know my luck.
So I'm also eating a ton of vitamin c and drinking all the hot tea.
It sucks.

I know in a small way how that feels. 'Tis the season for antagonizing everyone around me to make sure they've gotten their flu shot, because the last time I had the flu, I had three weeks in the hospital followed by three weeks quarantined in a sanitized room while my system recovered. I will hope the best for you that is the better side of luck.

I'm allergic to the flu shot and I get irritated when people don't get it because I have nothing to protect me from the flu at all. A few years back I got that really bad flu that killed a ton of people and ended up transported by ambulance to the ICU. It was horrible. I stopped breathing a few times on the ambulance.
I was also uninsured so that was awful. I couldn't afford the medicines they prescribed and ended up in the hospital again.
Never wanna go through that again.
