If they don't eat I figure they don't need it at the moment. I need to fill the bowl often enough that I know at least one of them is getting all she needs.

It’s weird that I feed my cats this way and two stayed lean, two got fat and one is just average.
@Killtheskyfairy One of my cats is very picky, and won't eat canned food, at least not the canned food I'm buying. they both eat the dry. Neither is fat, but the cat that eats only dry is not as lean as the other, and that might just be she's a bigger kitty.
