Trap/neuter/release. To reduce feral cat populations, this has proven with data, that this method used, is most successful. I tend to keep the cats and adorn them with loud bells & orange hazard tape to their collars. Birds see colors & that loud bell , not that stupid jingle bell, alerts other to freeze/flee/fight. Helps the wildlife & me keeping track of him should he escape the confines of the dog door kennel access.
