My brother's tuxedo cat Millie. She is about 2 years old and used to belong to a couple of drug addicts who used to live in my brother's condo building. They moved out and left her behind. My brother and sister-in-law took her in, got her spayed and vaccinated. She has many health issues that are now being taken care of. I was excited to meet her for the first time on my recent visit to the coast. She's very shy and was more interested in my shoes.

I've heard too many stories of people leaving their cats behind upon moving whether it's an apartment or a house. There needs to be a law or regulation enacted that no one can own any animal unless they post a large sum of money and/or pass a two week course, PLUS be psychologically evaluated!

my cat, Dazzle, who is by my side right now..was dumped by my upstairs neighbor at my last apartment. They should be fined or dumped. But thank you, my ex crappy neighbor, for my best buddy.

I'm so glad she has a better life.

Such a pretty baby! She must think she has gone to heaven now.

They live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment/condo with a small balcony, but I think she's very happy there. She is very much loved. My sis in law says she can't wait to go home from work everyday to see Millie at home. My sis in law has allergies to cats but she gets allergy shots once a month so she can keep Millie.

@graceylou My heart cat was named Millie. She was the Millennium Kitten, born in 2000. AKA Miss Millie. She died in 2016.

@graceylou Your sister-in-law sounds like my mother. My mother enjoyed her cats so much that when it was found she was allergic, the first words out of her mouth were, "which medication do I have to take?"

Posted by LaurenI thought this was an accurate representation of how we feel every time we remember our last cat, which happens often when my daughter and I laugh over our current cat's antics.
