So this cat is not only asking for food, he’s signing for it!
How cool is that?

So much more eloquent than my cat smacking me on the head and then pointing to the cupboard where the food is kept.

Some are just more polite than others. I have one grabby girl, & one very polite little girl.
They now teach pre-verbal kids how to sign.
Pretty sure some of those would work for cats too. Kind of afraid to teach them though. lol

I've been using sign language with preverbal kids for 16 years.
@TaraMarshall Yes I was really surprised to see this new way to prevent frustration with small kids. It's pretty awesome. And I imagine it has tons of uses.
And I really do wonder if my cats would pick it up?
Though certainly I am well trained without it. lol
