Ok so any of you find yourself talking to your kitty when he/she/they talk to you? I’m like “what’s going on?”

All of the time.

Supposedly we generally understand what they are saying - they have quite a few different tones from inquiry to scolding. lol

Yes they do... lol

Oh yeah. In fact, I meow back. I have no idea what I'm saying but it seems like we are having a great conversation.

I know right?

All the time! We have great conversations.

Yes we do

Just the other day I was yelling back and forth with Monkey to shut up. He was somewhere in the house meowing, sounding like he was complaining. After a few minutes I realized he was locked in a closet......

Mine love to walk into any closet I open. I know the struggle.

Yes, I'll be like Daddy will be back after work baby. Realizing without fail that he doesn't give a fuck. He's not a damn dog.

I miss that. And it is not the same with a dog!

I always talk to my kitties, & Purrin herself is very vocal.

Hands up.

[] Just the basic sounds and what they mean.

I'm betting the cat folk already know what their cats are saying though. lol

RavenCT Level 9 Aug 10, 2018

Do you mean to say some people don't talk to their cats? That's just wrong!

kmdskit3 Level 8 Aug 11, 2018

It's not so much saying words, though I think cats do learn the meaning of some, it's more the tone of my voice that I use to try communication.
