HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL!
It is the season of love for all the tomcats in the neighborhood. I have two female cats, Sweetie Pie and Hella Queen of the underworld. Both habe been fixed all their lives. But never mond! We have all the male cats come visit at night, beautiful,bid tom cats. So horny, so hopeful but never sucessful.
I can smell them in the morning when I open the door. There must be still some small amount of scent of the female left on my kitties. Or maybe the males are just stupid.

I kept two and gave the others away . At around age two , my , previously male , began jumping my previously female . She didn't like it , and told him so , multiple times , in increasingly angry ways . Their social levels changed . She had been the runt of the litter . He now waits for her to finish eating , before he approaches the food dish . Mostly , she doesn't care what he's doing , as long as he isn't trying to do it to her . If he gets too close , she instantly reminds him , where his boundary is . He brought it on himself .

My neutered male occasionally tries to hump one of the other cats. She is not happy about it and could use a social status change.
Male cats...Male men, we are the same....always trying!!!!
