we got her kitten food but she seems to like the grownup meow mix better. she watched me pet tevye and imitated me, petting him, but he hissed at her. he would never hurt her, though. he just stalked off. so funny to see a tiny kitten petting a 12-pound cat with her little paw! she can get on and off the bed by herself, and can get off the dining table where the cat food is, but i'm not sure she can get up there. there are increments -- a chair, a bench -- so i think so, and now she knows where it is. the one thing i have not seen yet is any sign she has used her box (or a substitute). i was told she is box-trained. maybe she's just been discreet? anyway she likes to sleep on my face! she is going to be quite a character, this little one.

That is one beautiful kitten, lots of fun to be had with this one.

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
