Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I've abandoned that Democratic Party. This was because I had an interest in John Kerry elected to defeat Bush, only to realized that he was not going to pull us out of Iraq and Afghanistan and continue on with the war.
Then other things started to fall in place. First I only was in favor of Kerry because he was not GW Bush. Then I realized that is the mentality of people. This is why we can't have nice things.
The Dems get most of their money from the same people who fund Republican party. In most administrations, most of what we see is just cosmetic.
I also just looked at the whole system an realized it just has to come down.

I don't think there would be any American governor that would support raising state taxes on billionaires. Raising taxes on billionaires has to be done at the federal level.
Debt does matter and regardless of who controls our government starting in January 2021, we are going to be in a world of hurt economically.

Although I think they should be taxed...
What of all the taxes paid by the masses of working people who do pay taxes? Their tax burden is so much higher because millionaires and billionaires don't pay their fair share. Isn't that what the democrats CLAIM to be about? It's time for governments all over the country to put their taxes at 90%.
In my simple opinion, all expats who leave for tax reasons and renounce their citizenship should NEVER be allowed back for any reason - death in the family, marriage guest, etc

@Theresa_N I actually agree that wealthy should be taxed as much as anyone else.
