His wife told the police he had a number of guns inside with him.
@Theresa_N but still. SWAT should only come if there is a credible threat. That could have been assessed at the scene as he hadn't accosted anyone yet.
@Beowulfsfriend You're right of course but police tend to over react especially when guns are involved. He did accost his wife, one of the reasons she called the police.
