The cognitive dissonance, or willful & purposeful misunderstanding, or both, is strong in this one. But, let's face it, besides being a tRump toady, he was a big proponent of the "pray away the gay" crowd. Reality is not a strong suit of this bunch.

I have found that what Mike Pence says is so unreliable that I cannot give any credence to any of his statements.
I also find his racism to be a magnificent example of why Critical Race Theory is becoming a hot topic of debate in the United $tates of Absurdity.

@SeaGreenEyez Which demonstrates most beautifully that Mike Pence and his ilk are indeed part of the problem that CRT studies.
You could make the argument that black lives are saved everyday by all of the police who show restraint and DON'T shoot on sight any ethnicity other than their own.
Which is like saying a police officer is justified in arresting a suspect for damaging police property, when said suspect viciously attacks a policeman's boot with their testicles.
