One more example of how Republicans are like religion --actively working to hide the truth.
[m.huffpost.com]
Republicans work on the fear concept. If you don't vote this way, something terrible will happen. Have to spend for the military...if not we will be taken over by Russia or China. Have to have a wall, why? because terrible people with drugs will come into the country or terrorists. They don't like socialists either. Fine with me, and I have no fear.
The stupid...it burns...it burns, hot...so hot I'm betting I can pop some popcorn on this heated heap of cow shyt.
If anyone with their 5 senses read the Republican platform, you will be sure you do not like it. That is why they simply resorts to attacks on the opposition because that have their racist ideology and they just want your vote and then work against you, unless you are a millionaire.
I will certainly will not vote Republican in the next congressional elections. The Republicans in Congress are afraid to confront all of the criminal acts Trump has made. It began with the election and Russians operatives working the Electoral College as Trump's opposition gained over 3 million votes at the end of the election. It has been one scandal after the other. People voted for him and he turned around and screwed the voters by giving extra money to the rich. The rich did not need the money. They do not invest their extra money in the US. They send the jobs to China. Having family members run things in the White House is illegal. It is called nepotism. Trump commited treason by getting monies from other nations when he should have stopped the practice but there is not not a single dissent by any Republican in Congress. He needs to be read the impeachment procedures and get ready to face the music. That is why I exhort not to vote Republican in the next election. If we can get the opposition to control Congress, someone may have the guts to start the impeach process and that goes to the vicepresident too.Wait until the truth comes out with Trump using the Russian operatives subvert the Electoral College to win an election that he lost by over 3 million votes. That is called a bloodless coup de tat.
Some would dismiss your warning as hysterical conspiracy theory. But I think that is just because Americans have a powerful gut level desire to believe our nation is immune to such political crises. I happen to agree with your assessment.
@MikeInBatonRouge There are conspiracies everywhere from the top to the bottom. I just wish that the Republicans with the super macho attitude turn into kittens when it comes to Trump and his criminal cabinet. The Republicans have shown to be a spineless as the Democrats. Some Repubicans do not agree with Trump but are terribly afraid of the bully in the White House. So much for that macho attitude. They are ruining the country with the criminal cabinet of racist billionaires. I do not envy being a millionaire. They have their own problems too.
I don't understand any of it can someone explain it to me (a bear of little brain obviously) - simply?
It is multi-layered complicated, but basically, religion deals with fable and actively resisting factual information that casts doubt on their religious story line.
Similarly, the Republican Party, when it comes to Trump, seems so afraid of losing political power if it were to actually do its job by policing the president and holding him accountable for any crimes he is shown to have committed, ...so afraid of losing to Dems that they are putting up with Trump's blatant criminal behaviors and doing what it thinks it can get away with to throw roadblocks in the way of the current investigations of his ties with Russia. ...not to mention his multiple other unethical actions, from nepotism, blatant profiteering off his office by refusing to divest himself of his business ties that have won a ton of business by virtue of his clout as president, his apparent sexual crimes, defrauding of customers, etc. Republicans are actively whitewashing all of this.
The Pope must be defended at all costs!
Trump as holy figure. Rich! It rather exposes both politics and religion for their dishonesty.
