The Supreme Court has called for very close scrutiny of a state’s actions when race was shown to be the predominant reason in creating legislative districts. (It has, by contrast, so far left open the separate question of whether extreme partisan gerrymandering, in which the political party in power draws maps to give an advantage to its candidates, can ever cross a constitutional line. The court is expected to address that question later this month.)"

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.SCOTUS has allowed states to do it and allowed states to take action against gerrymandering (recently Pennsylvania redistricted due to past republicans maps and gained some democratic seats in the last election).

Good information. Everyone should keep track of where it isn't combatted and where it is. Everyone needs to keep up with those undercover changes which affect us all, in order to sue, appeal, or fight it.
they do this in a lot of states, i do not see it changing myself
