What if the septenary nature of the human condition needed the 7 billion + of us for the experiment to finally work? It's hard to avoid some obvious conclusions about our species but we are a tenacious creature. We shouldn't have to use much more than eye contact and a shuffle or two between eachother to feel ashamed of ourselves. I mean, letting psychotic mass murderer's compete with each other for world domination because their logistical manipulations of planetary resources have some benefits... That's something special. And its something unique we can all basically sense as a bad idea...

We can walk away and encourage leisurely low cost clean energy utopia. Building solutions sounds a lot more fun than dealing with abusers on their own playground.

Yessir! Solutions to many of humanity's problems are freely available. Before We can sit back as a species and laugh about how ridiculous We all are sometimes, We're gonna have to clean house a little. Whatever that means?

Allamanda and Brentan: Thanks for (kind of) clarifying the above comment. Damned if I could make sense of it.

Obama joked to would be boys who might deflower his 2 daughters: "remember I have drones"....the other panel above is sort of a true portrait of DORIAN GRAY/doreen....a composite of all world leaders while the true believers say the Emperor has new clothes for the next election

Two problems with your proposition - 1) being couched in terms of Theosophy it is not going to be widely accepted, and 2) we CANNOT all basically sense anything of the kind, sadly.
The motifier for our actions as a species doesn't exist, or not yet, or perhaps cannot. Religion and movements such as Theosophy have always failed to develop our 'better nature' in the sense of preserving the environment - and is one of the main reasons they are rejected by the young as selfish.

"The modifier for our actions as a species doesn't exist, or not yet, or perhaps cannot."

Are you serious? Even bugs modify their behavior. Constantly.

@Goremmegedon as a species? To what does the human species react as a unit?

@Allamanda Humans react to the other humans. It's some kind of chain reaction.

@Goremmegedon but it's localised, so in terms of even global politics it isn't working as you said yourself.

@Allamanda Right. And that's what we're doing here. Provoking the evolutionary process of our entire species. Well, that's my plan anyway. By any means neccessary.

Stretching my Roget Thesaurus to find what you really intend readers to understand...are you implying trickle down economics from criminal theocrats polluting our planet is some cosmic experiment ?

The thing is that it's a religious notion - you know, 7 for spiritual completeness and 10 for human completeness. We might as well believe in the Book of Revelation.

brentan Level 8 July 27, 2019

I don't think there's anything wrong with a religious notion as long as a religious organization hasn't weaponized it.
