Announce your insect friendly habitat with this attractive sign.
DON'T MOW DON'T SPRAY expand bee and butterfly habitats....pull out plants you don't want by hand....love mother earth and all her children.....land does not belong to you YOU BELONG TO EARTH
Where I live we don't need signs as it is a farming area. One great pollinator one can support are mason bees. However they take some work and have to be cleaned and refrigerated at the start of winter.
One problem we had this summer was the weather. it was a wetter and cooler summer than normal and whereas the fruit was enormous the bees didn't want to go out. I normally get 2 quarts of local honey but this year all the bee keeper could spare was 1 pint. Climate change will also affect the pollinators and there's little we can do about that.
I am in an agricultural area also but those of us who care place signs up as the farms often use herbicides & pesticides. It helps to educate.
@Mooolah We don't have that problem. Our country was one of the first in the country to ban GMO's in farming.
@JackPedigo Yay! Now on to Bayer/Monsanto glyphosate
