The Honesty is in flower in the garden now. This is the typical purple form there is also a white. But it is better known for its transparent seed heads in the autumn, which get it the common name 'Honesty', since you can clearly see and count the seeds, therefore it is honest in that it is not shy to show its wealth. Biennial self sows everywhere, especially in shade.
Around here it is commonly referred to as Money plant.
It sounds almost like an invasive. What is the Latin name. Perhaps we can grow it here.

@Fernapple Thank you. It's called the Money Plant. It does grow in this area but it can be tough and invasive.
@JackPedigo I thought it seemed familiar but I've only seen the white version.
@itsmedammit I too have seen this plant. Have to wait until the fall to see if it was here.
