My long lasting blooms are here, Southern Magnolia, Aloe, and Amaryllis. Spring has sprung.

The magnolia tree was one of the selling points when I got the property. One of the saddest days I had over the years was when I brought one of the blooms and placed it in a bowl of water by my computer. I loved the perfume from the blossom and marveled at the little matchstick stamen, then I started sneezing, violent sneezes. I left the room and it stopped. sat back down and it started again. Now I enjoy it outside and marvel at its beauty, just no picking the flowers. @freeofgod @tinkercreek @redheadgrammy @heidi68 @owlinasack

I completely understand, having seasonal allergies myself. Have you tried taking Nettle capsules?

@tinkercreek I'm bot familar with Nettle caps. They have me on 3 different allergy meds depending on how bad it is.

I had two star magnolias. They were my favorite.

This one is at least 80 years old and has had a few rough years. but this year it is really putting on a show, I've got a lot of buds and the aroma is very strong this year. I love that they bloom as long as they do.

@glennlab I don't have one but have always loved them.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
