A Heart survives, and Purples arrive:

I think I got a tainted load of mulch last year, for my Bleeding Heart didn't even make an appearance, among other garden casualties. A tiny flash of pink caught my eye today, and look at this little champ I found, making a comeback ❤

Front garden purples flooding in are pansy Clear Blue, heliotrope Fragrant Marine, and these gorgeous tall, dark iris that pre-date me here. Such fun to see them all!

While walking around within the campus of m villa association, yesterday, I was amazed to find a shrub version of Bleeding Heart, 4 feet, and some more, high...in full bloom.

And you didn't take a photo? 🤷♀️

@tinkercreek I could probably find it again, and take a photo. I have been taking lots of photos of local birds. I tried to load a photo to a different comment, and could not do so.
How does one go about it?

@tinkercreek I tried the "Add photo" link, and got nowhere.

@BirdMan1 I've found that I can only add photos here that I have saved to file on my computer. Bit of a bother, but it works.

@tinkercreek Found and photographed. Now, I have to find out how to "save file."

That second to the last picture is of one of the better smelling flowers, I think. Not that I'm likely to remember its name of course.

Yes, heliotrope, slightly vanillan fragrance.

I LOVE bleeding hearts!! I used to call them my Liberal Plants, it would make my ex soooo mad. I never did figure that one out, but seeing him steam away was priceless. It is such a pretty plant.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
