Nothing to do with the main point, but I love the way they use the term "before times" in the article.

Or perhaps evolved to do so but then the evolution involved would be in the culture and not the DNA, I think.

@MarkWD No I think we were evolved in the DNA.

@Fernapple and most likely still are but I think cultural evolution might be as signs any or more so now.

I have heard that lots of times before and there is truth to that BUT I would be very happy if I had a manageable garden(s). In order to fill my socializing needs requires time and help elsewhere. Letting go of something you have worked really hard for is demoralizing but trying to hang on is exhausting.
