First time I planted okra, I put in 4 rows of dwarf okra, not realizing that dwarf was the fruit size and not the plant size. Once they got over 8 feet tall, I cut then to two feet, I was harvesting twice a day about a half of bushel each time. I learned my lesson.
Hysterical!
One Okra plant stuck in with the tomatoes provides more than enough for us.
@bigpawbullets I didn't have enough friends to take all my surpluses that year. I overplanted everything, tomatoes, beans, squash as well as okra. The trials of a new unsupervised gardener.
