Your work looks brilliant but will it withstand a 1200lb. moose?
Blackcurrant canes? They were virtually a noxious weed in England!
Isn't electric fencing cheaper & more effective?
Elecreic fencing is not cheaper and not more effective. Moose will damage many fruit trees and berries and a wire fence works fine.
@FrostyJim I can usually buy substantial amounts of electric fencing second hand for very low cost.
@FrayedBear - My wire cage works fine - is cheaper and takes no electric power.
@FrostyJim Ivve never had the problem of a 1200lb moose. I simply couldn't conceive those, albeit solid pieces of wood resisting that weight and determined pushing.
Solar panels and recharging long life batteries but perhaps you have problems with your intense cold - something I've never experienced!
Lol today I was sitting in my car talking to the leaflet delivery guy this afternoon. I started to gently perspire because the car interior in the sun got to 52.4°C and I still had my coat on.
Awesome! I guess the moose can really destroy some plants eh? Good looking cage!
