I ❤️ tomatoes!

A nearly two-pound Brandywine Tomato I picked this morning, and had for lunch (with bacon).

Wow; and so fleshy...so few moisture-seed pockets. Excellent!

It looks delicious. There is nothing that compares to garden grown produce especially tomatoes.

How beautiful! I would just eat it all by itself on two slices of bread! I love tomato sandwiches.

Long time since I had one of those!

Awesome job! 👍 I am nursing the last of my crop through the mild frost period in Souther Ontario but I am running out of time quickly.

It got so cold so quickly, I pulled up the plant & have quite a few
S L O W L Y turning red on the windowsill. To get decent flavor you have to wait a week+ after they look "ready"

@AnneWimsey I just had a small. ripe brandywine diced up in our salad, picked it a week ago and it was perfect as you said. I am processing a lot of my sicilian roma tomatoes into stewed tomatoes or pasta sauce, along with some sweet bell peppers, some hot peppers, onions and garlic from the garden. It freezes well and keeps for 3 to 4 months before the flavour starts to suffer a bit.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
