A December Nasturtium blossom. I had thought lucky to have a Nasturtium bloom last November, but this morning, I discovered a second plant was able to bloom. I see a second bud on this plant too. Temperatures have been harsh enough since the last bloom that I was sure these plants were done. We had several days near freezing. These Nasturtium show some damage from the cold but this one had enough to produce a flower and possibly a second one. The forcast says temperatures should be OK for them until Saturday when it will be near freezing again. I may bring this pot in because the coloring on the flower is so unusual. I'd love to collect a seed or two from it.
Itβs really a beautiful color! Take that baby inside to save it and get some seeds!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
