Who removed the shells & how?
I haven't an answer to either of those good questions Bear. I'll look around the patio and lawn and see what I can find.
I went out and looked while the "parents" were absent. No evidence of shell fragments anywhere.
@bigpawbullets Did the youngsters or the parents eat them?
@FrayedBear
Unknown Bear. Robins seem to subsist on worms.
The parents are feeding the chicks via regurgitation.
@bigpawbullets Makes sense but they can't just disappear.
@FrayedBear
Very true Bear. Had a few squalls pass through so they could have blown out into the lawn. I have found broken Robin eggshells under nests in past years.
Are they still alive? It doesn't look like a good thing.
Just hatched. The short clip i took showed lots of wiggling around. Mom Robin is being very attentive. We shall see!
@bigpawbullets I should have read comments first. Glad to hear mom is doing her mom stuff!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
