A favorite Youtube channel discussed the edible Nasturtium. I can't grow it here during the summer months when the temperatures are high, but I had several plants bloom bright orange red and yellow this Spring. The plant is just a bit too peppery for my taste, so I just enjoy its in round leaves and bright colored flowers.
Many "weeds" have properties that are beneficial to our health. The biggest problem is our "weed eradication" programs render them unfit for human consumption. My yard is relatively weed friendly, but my neighbors use all sorts of chemicals, and I am concerned for the overspray.
Your neighbors use of chemicals could be a problem for any garden edibles as well.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
