I'm using a hydroponic system to grow Basil...and I harvest and use fresh leaves every 4-5 days...in fact I made a pesto using shelled pistachios instead of Pine nuts...(as well as Garlic and EVOO ) and it came out delicious.

Sorry about Agnostic's turned/rotated image...I shot it straight (with the light at the top) @admin...help?)

There are many herbs that can be grown in water or hydroponiclly. My favourite is Herb Roberts ( for digestiive issues). I had 2 sprigs in water for 12 months before planting them out into a box.

Another herb, five in one, french time etc the only way to kill it is by cremation.
I have had it in water for quite some time before planting out,.
My mother tried to dry it by hanging it down from the laundry ceiling. The plant just kept on growing.

French Thyme, or five in one herb

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
