Ten houseplants that can survive even in the darkest corner.

I have a peace Lilly and we have two dogs. Fortunately our dogs are spoiled rotten and would never go near our house plants! They snub their noses at dog food. But good to know the peace Lilly is toxic. Thanks!
I have snake plants and spider plants. Because my water is fluoridated the spiders are not doing as well. Fluoride causes the tips of the leaves to brown. The Snake plants are doing well, in fact I have just propagated a whole bunch of them.
Please be careful. If you have pets or children some of these plants are deadly, or harmful if the leaves are chewed or swallowed. Such as the Dieffenbachia which can paralyze throat muscles and vocal chords. The Peace Lily is more dangerous for dogs and cats. It can be fatally toxic to them.
Look the plant up on Google before bringing them into your home if it could cause a problem.
