Chicken and Duck pen (next year’s garden) done. Deep bedding 6” to 12” in the pen except for one area we left for them to take dust baths.

The corner is only about 20 feet from house but we keep the feed sealed up. We don’t have any rats
@CeliaVL I live in central Florida. We have a ton of snakes here rattlesnakes cottonmouth Rat snakes garter snake pygmy rattlesnakes Black racers and coach wips just to name a few. We have a 4 foot black racer that live in our pole barn. I leave him alone. He is probably the main reason we have no rats.
