Has anyone else ever raised moonflowers?? They have a wonderful large white bloom that's very fragrant. And, as the name implies, they open at dusk. Or on a very overcast day. The hummingbird moths love them.
I had them on a trellis when I lived in Louisiana. Loved them!
I planted some with my Morning Glories this year. The Morning Glories have climbed all the way up the fence and fall over the top, Just started blooming today , but the moonflower plants are still low to the ground. I think I might have accidentally gotten the bush kind instead of the climbing ones. I really hope they take off more and bloom they are pretty and smell nice.
I've raised both and the bush kind is my favorite. They aren't invasive and come back every year.
Do you mean Night Blooming Cereus? We had those in our backyard in Bermuda.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
