A few pictures of the pepper plants,starting with the Brazilian Starfish A sweet hot pepper about the same hot level as a jalapeno. Then the Jalapeno, Next is the bell pepper, and last is the Caroline Reaper the hottest of all peppers with a level sometimes over 1,500,000 Scovilles. In comparison to the Jalapeno is 100,000 Scovilles.

@kenriley A poker buddy of mine in Bermuda used to bring chili to our tournaments and it was always hot but one time he brought chili made with ghost peppers and it damned near blew the tops of the heads of the first few players who took a liberal portion expecting his usual super hot chili con carne, this time it was nuclear hot. I like hot and spicy food (women too for that matter) but this was so hot it reminded me of my psychotic ex-wife kinda hot and spicy. (still feeling the burn 20 years later from that little soiree)
