A couple of my daylilies bloomed this week. These are ones I planted, hoping to see them spread through the flower bed. They have not spread much over the years although the wild daylilies managed to "jump" the sidewalk and make a bid for dominance in this bed. I regularly have to dig a bunch of the wild ones, which of course does not eradicate them from the space as it is impossible to get every tuber. If the hybrids spread half as well as the wild ones, I'd have a flowerbed full of these babies. (and others)
