"Cherokee Trail of Tears" beans
These have turned out to be a very versatile bean. You can eat them as a green bean or you can let them ripen for a black bean. This is the first year I've grown them. I'll plan on growing them again next year.
Beans, in general, are very helpful. No tying tomatoes!

Yes. A support system such as bamboo or wire screen is still needed. The beans wrap themselves around both, tying the tomato plants to the support system. Here's a photo showing the beginning of the process.
I have never heard of these before, way cool!
