First person to correctly ID all three from left to right is a plant nerd!

Good work identifying pyracantha and pokeweed! The first one seems to throw people off the most. It's Chinese pistache (Pistacia chinensis).

Thanks for playin', y'all!

I live in California and only recognize the second (pyracantha) and third (poke)

Those don't look like the blueberries that grow here.

Wild blueberries? Those are smaller here in New England too.

@RavenCT
They don't really resemble blueberries on closer exam. The berries are on to long of a pannicle

@Leafhead I don't know why but I thought "Non-edible" for all three? I had a very Yankee neighbor who taught me some plant ID when I was very young. He could pick an edible up right off the forest floor. And also tell you what to never eat.

That might be where the memory is coming from.

Now I want to see what the answer is! lol

@RavenCT
That's a handy tool to have in case things go really sour in this country.
I really fear for the middle class.
I can't say it enough times to enough people. VOTE THIS NOV 6!!!

@Leafhead I just sent in my paperwork for an absentee ballot.

And I keep reminding the young folk that if they don't vote they can't complain! (Hey it worked on me!).

@RavenCT
Point on! I have the same message, especially women, who have the most to lose right now

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
