Loads of tomatoes set on, some as big as 3 and 1/2 inches wide. Although they are still green, I can already taste those black heirloom tomatoes in my mind. Just another 2 to 3 weeks until I can taste them in reality.

I know you will enjoy them. I and my neighbors have been enjoying mine since mid=April.

Those black ones are the bomb!

I can't even plant for several weeks yet, I'm so jealous!

Move south .

@Cast1es I lived in the south once, it didn't agree with me. All my children now live within 20 miles of where I live, there is nothing at this moment that would persuade me to move away from my grandbabies.

Dang, it's almost time to plant tomatoes here in Oregon, and now you have my mouth watering for 'maters off the vine....!

Are the blacks less acidic? ?

I would describe the taste as deliciously sweet, slightly aromatic, and mildly tart.

Like a cross between yellow and red. Very good.

Just started growing some but they’re already looking good little seedlings
