Never heard of this plant. It is really pretty.
Very twee. Looks good.
And the name is a delight.
thank you - twee??
[thefreedictionary.com] - the definition is imo harsher than my understanding of its meaning.
@FrayedBear OK, I'll just choose to believe you on that. No, wait, just learnt sumpin' new!
@tinkercreek there you go.
looks really good, how i miss not having to fight weeds
What, you think we don't have weeds in Oregon?? They grow just as happily as the others, guess I could post those pics, too .
@tinkercreek I thought that you guys over there just smoked them nowadays?
@tinkercreek I remeber the weeds there, they are no where near aggressive as the ones down south.
@tinkercreek this is after 2 weeks of rain
@glennlab Crikey! If we had two weeks of rain we'd think ourselves glory bound and most likely be sandbagging and paddling in wellies and dryzabones.
@FrayedBear we got 10 inchesand more expected in the morning.
@glennlab that I think is not far off what we had in the last two years! But last week we have had a couple of promising dowpours. My organic veggie supplier was pleased to have his dam, empty for nearly two years, fill up in one hour.
Defensive looking prickly leaves .
Actually, they are very tiny & soft, more like hairy than prickly.
