I’m making up for not being in the Mountains fishing: I’ve potted up the plants that needed doing, made a quiche with herbs and spinach from he garden, and then went berry picking: turns out the field next to my new house is absolutely epic!
I will make a thick jelly with the hawthorn berries (and some rose hips) to eat with cheese. And the black berries are just one of life’s joys: I’ll freeze most and make a crumble with pears from the garden. There are so many blackberries there it’s bonkers. I’ll fill the freezer. Happy days!

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
