How do you feel about light hearted things in the garden. Do you think that a sense of fun is good, or should gardens be taken seriously, is it possible to live with them longterm ?
I visited today a garden which is unashamedly light hearted with a few really cheeky elements such as the fake windows looking out over it, and the tiny lifeguard seat, which is twenty miles from the sea and looks over a modest garden pond. Do you like ?
I like any beautiful garden. Whimsy, though not essential, just adds to the fun, as far as I am concerned.
In this day and age we need all the humor we can get even in our gardens.
I like both light hearted and serious. Light hearted should also be aesthetically pleasing.
I like it... Looks interesting.... We should always have fun with the things we love...
True.

Posted by KateOahuI saw some pretty flowers on a walk today. I’d never seen a white Hibiscus before. And I do not know what the pink flowers are.
