Global warming. Roses here in Baton Rouge are typically done blooming between the start of November and Christmas. They get pruned in early February and start producing flower buds again by the end of March.
Here we are in Mid-January, and my garden looks a little different. Granted, this is no spring flush, but still...

I will be tucking in my confused dahlias and hydrangea, and the baby lettuce and bringing the potted stuff indoors. Everything else should be fine I hope. We actually have not had a clear freeze since early November. Crazy.

My roses are leafed out, winter flowers are popping, and my blue star bulbs are up about 4", typical for March/April!ll
