That’s an odd list. Doesn’t have tomatoes(unless I read over it) it peppers …;

I think bees are a great benefit to tomatoes and peppers but they don't have very many flowers out for long periods of time. The way I have understand is it's good to keep heavily flowering type things that will bloom all season. That way they can forage while they aren't pollinating our crops.
